The Grizzlies dominated the first half, jumping out to a commanding 24-0 lead. However, the Coyotes' defense stepped up midway through the second quarter, making crucial stops and giving their offense a much-needed boost.
And this is the part most people miss... The Coyotes showed resilience, mounting a late first-half drive that culminated in a 23-yard touchdown run by L.J. Phillips Jr. This momentum carried into the second half, where the Coyotes threatened to make a comeback.
In a thrilling fourth-quarter sequence, Aidan Bouman connected with Jack Martens for a remarkable 69-yard touchdown reception. The play was a testament to the Coyotes' determination, as Martens got back up and completed the score, despite everyone expecting a whistle.
